Shelfy Privacy Policy

Shelfy is a local-first app. We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your data on any server. Period.

What we do not collect

• No account or login. There is no server we could collect data on.
• No analytics. We do not know how you use the app.
• No crash reports. We do not receive any data when the app crashes.
• No advertising identifiers.
• No location data.
• No tracking of any kind.

What stays on your device

Everything. Items, photos, notes, dates, and preferences are stored locally in the app’s sandbox. If you uninstall Shelfy, that data is removed with the app.

Camera and photo permissions

If you attach a photo to an item, the app may request camera or photo library access. Photos stay on your device only.

Notifications

The app schedules local notifications on your device. These are not sent through any server.
